DES:djk n9/11/95 (020/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 9/25/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12605 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE STREET LIGHTING <br /> SUPPLIES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of street <br />lighting supplies to be used by the Traffic Control Maintenance <br />division of Public Works Services for street light maintenance <br />and repairs in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Electrical Distributors of San Jose, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br />of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Electrical Distributors of San Jose, <br />California, in the total amount of Twenty-two Thousand Seven <br /> <br />Hundred Eleven and 61/100 Dollars ($22,711.61), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated August 9, 1995 for <br />the sale of said street lighting supplies, which bid is on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale of said supplies to the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
