2019 — FEMA includes Seaport Centre and Seaport Plaza in Special <br />Flood Hazard Area <br />Seaport Plaza/Seaport Centre owners wish to remove their <br />properties from Special Flood Hazard Area by constructing— <br />new levee and related flood protection facilities along the perimeter of <br />Seaport Plaza facing Redwood Creek <br />improvements to (or replacement of) the existing Seaport Centre Levee <br />Property owners have asked the City to - <br />acquire the levee improvements <br />establish a community facilities district ("CFD") to finance the acquisition <br />price over 15 years <br />use the CFD to finance ongoing maintenance of the levee improvements <br />5of8 <br />
