BACKGROUND <br />Council adopted Ordinance No. 2463 transitioning to District Elections on <br />May 20, 2019 and directed staff to submit Council -approved maps to San <br />Mateo County elections office. <br />Upon review of the maps, the County determined that the maps met all <br />the requirements, however they sought additional information regarding <br />two parcels to determine which voting district each parcel would belong <br />to. <br />Based on the APN of each parcel, staff determined that one parcel would <br />be part of district 2 while the other parcel is located in unincorporated <br />San Mateo County and is not within a Redwood City Council district. <br />Redwood <br />City s <br />
