6.A. - Page 1 of 9 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: March 9, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Approval of Amendment No. 2 to the professional services agreement between InfoSend, Inc. and <br />Redwood City for eBusiness services, data processing, and print and mail services for utility billing <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the professional <br />services agreement between Redwood City and InfoSend, Inc. extending the agreement for a period of <br />three years for the not to exceed amount of $300,000, and authorize the City Manager to further extend <br />the agreement for two additional one-year periods in an amount not to exceed $100,000 per extension <br />term, for a total not to exceed contract amount of $675,000. <br />STRATEIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLES <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />In April 27, 2016, the City Council approved a three-year agreement with InfoSend, Inc. to provide <br />eBusiness services, data processing, and print and mail services for the City's utility billing function. <br />Services include an electronic bill payment option, online bill presentment, email notification of bills, <br />online payment history, storing and securing customer credit card information, data processing, and <br />printing and mailing utility billing services. <br />Per Amendment No. 1 of the agreement, approved on April 28, 2019, the agreement term was extended <br />for a period of one year which ends on April 27, 2020. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore <br />11 <br />
