6.C. - Page 30 of 75 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />ATTACHMENT B <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO PROVIDE FOR ADJUSTMENT TO SALARY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the Redwood City Council periodically <br />determines whether to make adjustments to the salary and benefits plan for the appointed <br />positions of City Manager and City Attorney; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted an annual performance evaluation of <br />the City Attorney, and reviewed compensation with respect to survey data of comparable <br />positions in benchmark cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council seeks to acknowledge the performance of the City <br />Attorney and ensure that salary remains competitive and in appropriate alignment with <br />other City classifications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Third Amendment to City Attorney Employment Agreement, attached hereto <br />as Exhibit A, to effectuate the salary adjustments is approved. <br />2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Third Amendment to City Attorney <br />Employment Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />3.
