This Ordinance defined and established procedures for the disposition of surplus personal property <br />belonging to the City. Ordinance 2477 requires that the Public Works Services Department (PWS) submit <br />the list of proposed surplus personal property for the City Council's approval before taking further action. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Attachment "A" provides a listing of proposed surplus personal property currently being held by PWS for <br />disposition. This list consists of city -owned vehicles and other equipment from various departments that <br />are no longer in service. These vehicles have increased maintenance costs exceeding current value, been <br />disabled through accidents, or reached the end of their useful lifespan and thus scheduled for <br />replacement.
