FXS:mge 0Q/01/95 (053b/40) <br /> <br /> ~- 0 R I G I N A L ~/14/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12590 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH REDWOOD CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM <br /> - PROJECT READ <br /> <br /> (FAMILIES IN PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Public Library ("Contractor") <br />conducts a Families in Partnership Program for residents of the <br />City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand <br />Two Hundred Eleven and No/100 Dollars ($5,211.00) from its <br />Connnunity Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Redwood City Library <br />Project Read (Families in Partnership Program)", (form dated <br />08/01/95), by and between the City of Redwood City and Redwood <br />City Public Library System, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br /> <br />
