2. Provide direction on a community visioning process for Central Redwood City <br />and direct staff to issue a Request for Proposals for consultant assistance with <br />this effort. <br />The motion passes unanimously by electronic vote. <br />10. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />10.A. City Council regional and subcommittee assignments <br />Mayor Howard made the following amendments to the assignments: <br />• 2+2+2—Councilmembers Bain and Hale <br />• Airport Land Use Commission — Councilmember Borgens <br />10.6. City Council Member Report of Conferences Attended <br />10.C. City Council Committee Reports <br />A. Safe Parking Ad Hoc Committee — Councilmembers Hale and Reddy gave <br />the report <br />10.D. City Manager (Oral) Update <br />City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz reported on a recent SAMTrans progress <br />report meeting, an update on the building permit application for Hallmark <br />House apartments, and an emergency purchase of heating & air conditioning <br />units at Sandpiper Community Center. <br />11. ADJOURNMENT <br />Councilmember Bain read a brief biography in memory of Douglas Karlson. <br />Motion and second, Masur and Bain, to adjourn in memory of Doug Karlson passes <br />unanimously by voice vote.
