FXS:mge a8/04/95 (053p/40) <br /> <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L 8~4/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12588 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH NORTH PENINSULA NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> SERVICE CENTER <br /> <br /> (MINOR REPAIR AND WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, North Peninsula Neighborhood Service Center, <br />("Contractor") conducts a Minor Repairs and Weatherization <br />program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br /> <br />"Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty-Five <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($25,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant Housing Rehabilitation funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br /> approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "North Peninsula <br /> Neighborhood Service Center (Minor Repair and Weatherization <br /> Program)", (form dated 08/04/95), by and between the City of <br /> <br /> <br />
