6.J. - Page 2 of 6
ANALYSIS
The City is projected to receive approximately $1.6 million of RMRA funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21.
Staff has developed the 2020-21 Pavement Management Program to receive RMRA funds and will
recommend allocating those funds in the FY 2020-21 Capital Improvement Program. The Program is
intended to extend the useful life of the streets in the project area by 8 to 15 years.
The Roadway Pavement Management Program addresses roadway pavement repair and replacement.
The Program inventories, assesses and tracks maintenance of the City's roadways. The City uses the
Metropolitan Transportation Commission's StreetSaver program, feedback from Public Works Services,
maintenance history, comments and complaints from the public, and engineer field surveys to evaluate
pavement conditions. The roadways listed in the table below were selected based on an assessment of
overall pavement conditions to make the most efficient use of City resources.
Street Name
Start
Roosevelt Avenue
Alameda de las Pulgas to
Arguello Street
Marshall Street to
Wilson Street
Franklin Street to
Upland Court
Cordilleras Road to
Barbour Drive
Canyon Road to
Rolison Road
2nd Avenue to
2nd Avenue
Spring Street to
Broadway
Woodside Road to
Shoreway Road
Marine Parkway to
Bowsprit Drive
Bridge Parkway to
Lagoon Drive
Twin Dolphin Parkway to
Bridge Parkway
North of Marine Parkway to
Shell Parkway
Redwood Shores Parkway to
End
Foothill Street
Whipple Avenue
End
Cul de sac
Foss Drive
5t" Avenue
Broadway
5t" Avenue
City Limits
Lanyard Drive
Marine Parkway
Redwood Shores Parkway
North of Marine Parkway
The streets on the project list are scheduled for a complete pavement overlay.
