04/27/2020 <br />assistance fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to reallocate an additional $393,000 from <br />the general fund to the emergency rental assistance fund to support to Redwood City <br />households who have no other means to replace lost income due to COVID-19. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, are hereby incorporated <br />herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety, and constitute findings in this <br />matter. <br />Section 2. The City Council hereby appropriates $393,000 from the General <br />Fund to establish a COVID-19 emergency rental assistance program in the Affordable <br />Housing Fund. <br />Section 3.
