FXS:mge ~/02/95 (053e/40) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/14/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12577 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE <br /> PENINSULA <br /> <br /> (LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula ("Contractor") <br />conducts a program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirteen <br />Thousand Three Hundred Sixty One and No/100 Dollars ($13,361.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Boys and Girls Club of the <br /> Peninsula (Life Skills Program)", (form dated 08/02/95), by and <br /> between the City of Redwood City and Boys and Girls Club of the <br /> Peninsula, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br /> <br />
