DES:djk nv/25/95 (109/37) <br /> --0 R I G I N A L ~/14/95 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N O. 12574 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1995-1996 SIDEWALK <br /> REPAIR AND TREE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12467, adopted May 22, <br />1995, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1995-1996 <br />Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Satterfield & Co., Ltd. of South San Francisco, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br /> <br />Satterfield & Co., Ltd.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Satterfield & Co., Ltd., in the amount of <br />Three Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-eight and <br />15/100 Dollars ($383,528.15), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated June 21, 1995, for the 1995-1996 Sidewalk <br />Repair and Tree Program, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />07/25/95) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and Satterfield & Co., <br /> <br /> <br />
