EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Services <br />Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Consultant shall assign <br />Consultant's employee(s) to perform for the City any or all of the functions <br />described below: <br />• Functions as assigned by the Consultant's lead advisor. <br />• Project related services on an as needed basis, with appropriate invoices for <br />services provided. <br />• Services may be within any of Consultant's service areas, including but not <br />limited to: <br />• Coaching for the positions of Finance Manager, IT Manager, Revenue <br />Services Manager, Human Resources Director, CIP Manager, and Principal <br />Analyst to ensure timely completion of the following initiatives <br />• Development of the FY 2020-21 operating and capital budget; <br />• Consultation regarding City bond issuance for construction of new Senior <br />Center; <br />• Monitoring and consultation on progress on ERP initiative; <br />• Monitoring and consultation on progress on Industrial Disability Retirement <br />Committee meetings with Police and Fire labor groups; <br />• Development of options for funding major City transportation initiatives in <br />coordination with the City Manager, Financial Services Manager, CIP <br />Manager, Community Development and Transportation Director, and <br />Transportation Manager; <br />• Attending Executive Team, Agenda Review, and Administrative Services <br />Management meetings and coordinating with Administrative Services staff <br />on follow up items as needed; <br />• Developing recommendations for improving accuracy of payroll function in <br />conjunction with Finance Manager and Human Resources Director; <br />• Advising City Manager on innovation proposals submitted by operating <br />departments and drafting RFP for consulting services required to support <br />those proposals; <br />• Assessing City practices on Use Tax and provide recommendations <br />Consultant's employee(s) shall be reasonably available to perform the services during the <br />normal work week, including working remotely, at City offices or at any other location <br />deemed as appropriate by the Consultant's lead advisor and Consultant's employee <br />providing such services. Consultant's employee(s) shall meet with City staff as regularly <br />and as often as necessary for the purpose of consulting about the scope of work <br />performed with the appropriate City project manager and with the Consultant lead. <br />REV: 03-10-2020 EI <br />ATTY/AGR.2020.055/Regional Government Services (Page 11 of 12) <br />
