DES:rg 07/"7/95 (048/40) <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L 7/~4/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12560 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR CERTAIN <br /> SERVICES RELATING TO GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF <br /> NOVEMBER 7, 1995 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, <br />adopted April 11, 1994, the General Municipal Election of the <br />City of Redwood City shall be held in said City on the same day <br />as School District Elections, to wit: the first Tuesday after <br />the first Monday in November of each odd-numbered year; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the General Municipal Election of the City of <br />Redwood City shall be held on November 7, 1995, and shall be <br />consolidated with School District Elections to be held on said <br />date; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo provides certain services <br />pertaining to the conduct of elections as set forth more fully in <br /> <br />the Agreement hereinafter referenced; <br /> NOW, THEREFOP~; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain Agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br />City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, and the <br />County of San Mateo, entitled "Service Agreement for the City of <br /> <br /> Redwood City General Municipal Election Consolidated with <br /> <br />November School Governing Board and Consolidated Elections"; <br /> <br /> (form dated 7/17/95), for the performance by the County Clerk of <br /> the County of San Mateo of certain services pertaining to the <br /> <br /> <br />
