7.B. - Page 40 of 79 <br />Describe the reasons for allocation priorities and any obstacles to addressing underserved <br />needs <br />Funding allocations for CDBG were based on 71.6 percent for Affordable Housing activities, 7.6 percent for <br />Public Services, 10.8 percent for Non -Housing Community Development and Economic Development, and <br />10 percent for Administration, Planning and Fair Housing. Funding recommendations for HOME were <br />based on 91.7 percent for Affordable Housing activities, 5 percent set-aside for use by a Community Housing <br />Development Organization (CHDO) and 3.3 percent for Administration. The City of Redwood City, in <br />partnership with non-profit organizations and County agencies, will undertake numerous programs and <br />activities to meet the five identified priorities of the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan during fiscal <br />year 2020-2021.
