The following information was <br />presented to the Council on that date via the staff report. <br />The City Council reviews and provides direction on various components of the City's parking strategy on <br />a periodic basis. Parking policy needs to be adjusted on a regular basis to reflect changes in use and needs <br />of the community. The purpose of this report is to request the expansion of the area defined as Meter <br />Zone A in the Downtown Parking Program in response to community requests. <br />Over the course of the last year, the City of Redwood City has received numerous complaints from <br />businesses on the 1600 block of Broadway and on the 700 block of Maple Street.
