Establishing a two year Safe RV Parking Program including: <br />a. Implementing an on -street RV Parking Permit Program <br />b. Standing up an off-street RV Safe Parking Facility <br />c. Continuing mitigation strategies related to RV residency on -street parking impacts <br />2. Adopting Parking Ordinance Amendments including: <br />a. Prohibiting overnight RV parking on City streets <br />b. Establishing a two-hour parking limitation for all vehicles on Oddstad Street between 9:00 a.m. <br />and 6:00 p.m. <br />c. Repealing an existing ban on using vehicles as sleeping or living quarters <br />3. Project timeline and budget <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Housing <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Housing and Human Concerns Committee (HHCC) work plan approved by the City Council on July 23, <br />2018, included an exploration of innovative housing solutions as a way to support the City's efforts to <br />create and preserve affordable housing and reduce homelessness and displacement.
