and <br />06/22/2020 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15856 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROPRIATING CERTAIN FUNDS TO CONFORM THE <br />BUDGETED AMOUNTS TO ESTIMATED REVENUES OR <br />EXPENDITURES FOR TRANSACTIONS PRIMARILY RELATED TO <br />COVID-19 THAT HAVE OCCURRED OR ARE ANTICIPATED TO OCCUR <br />DURING FY 2019-2020 <br />WHEREAS, on June 24, 2019, the City Council approved the FY 2019-20 Budget; <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City's existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of COVID-19 and its impact on the local economy, the <br />City's financial situation has drastically changed since the Budget was adopted on June <br />24, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to reflect the unanticipated changes in estimated revenues <br />and expenditures for FY 2019-20, and to reconcile the City's accounting records with <br />estimated amounts reported in the Ten -Year Forecast, budget amendments are required <br />for FY 2019-20; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has presented written documentation, which is attached hereto <br />as Exhibits "A" and "B" which sets forth in particularity the changes in revenues and the <br />changes in expenditures. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The following stated amounts, as set forth in full in Exhibits "A" and "B" which <br />are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby appropriated for specific <br />ATTY/RESO.0053/CC RESO FY 19-20 BUDGET APPROPRIATION RELATED TO COVID-19 RESO.
