07/13/2020 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15863 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROPRIATING CERTAIN FUNDS FOR THE EXTENDED DAY <br />LEARNING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FY 2019-2020 <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City's existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, grants and revenue are received during the course of the fiscal year <br />which were not anticipated when the City's budgets were first approved; and <br />WHEREAS, appropriations need to be established in order for staff to utilize grants <br />and revenues received; and <br />WHEREAS, staff received an amendment from the Redwood City School District <br />for additional anticipated grant revenue for the FY19-20 Extended Day Learning Program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The following stated amounts are hereby appropriated and transferred for <br />specific purposes to conform the budgeted amounts to actual revenue approved for <br />transactions, which have occurred during fiscal year 2019-2020: <br />Summary of Recommended Budget Change: <br />Beginning FY19-20 <br />Anticipated End of FY19- <br />Total Increase <br />Extended Day Learning <br />20 Extended Day <br />Services Total Revenue <br />Learning Services Total <br />Revenue <br />$627,235 <br />$754,930 <br />$127,695 <br />2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or designee to execute <br />the Grant Award Agreement and related contract documents, and to provide all necessary <br />documentation. <br />3.
