[�fli61P��Y�i1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15868 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROPRIATING $4,391,000 FROM THE PARK IMPACT FEE <br />FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has under its jurisdiction, certain real property <br />commonly known as the Redwood City Armory site located at 939 Valota Road, County <br />of San Mateo, State of California, 9406 (the "Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City has had an interest in purchasing of the Property from the <br />State since 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, the State desires to sell the Property to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the fair market appraisal was conducted and the fair market value was <br />determined to be $4,391,000; and <br />WHEREAS, the acquisition is to be funded by the Park Impact Fee Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase the Property pursuant to the term <br />and conditions set forth in the Purchase Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, are hereby incorporated <br />herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety, and constitute findings in this <br />matter. <br />Section 2. The City Council hereby appropriates $4,391,000 from the Park Impact <br />Fee Funds for the Purchase of the National Guard Armory. <br />Section 3.
