Approve a resolution developed by the City Council Communications Sub - <br />Committee declaring that Black Lives Matter and reaffirming the City <br />Council's commitment to racial equity, with the friendly amendment to <br />change "our country" to "the United States"; and <br />2. Direct staff to provide analysis and recommendations related to <br />commissioning a mural or monument in a visible location in Redwood City <br />that reflects the City's commitment to racial equity, with the clarification <br />to seek guidance from the Arts Commission to design and execute said <br />mural. <br />The motion passes unanimously by roll call vote. <br />8.B. City Council Member Report of Conferences Attended <br />8.C. City Council Committee Reports <br />A. Ad Hoc Committee on Policing — Mayor Howard gave an update. <br />B.
