Modifications to the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Program to increase <br />maximum grants and reallocate unused funds <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve increasing the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Program <br />grant maximum from $3,000 to $6,000, for City -funded grants; and <br />2. By motion, reallocate the unused portion of $100,000 in Community <br />Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funds previously set aside for <br />in-home child care providers to provide rental assistance to the broader pool of <br />qualified applicants. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.1. Application for grant funds for the Regional Stormwater Capture Project at <br />Red Morton Park with the State of California Natural Resources Agency <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution that approves an application for grant funds in the amount <br />of $913,333 for the Regional Stormwater Capture Project at Red Morton Park <br />with the Natural Resources Agency. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.J. Adoption of a resolution authorizing the County to levy and collect <br />assessments in connection with the Downtown Redwood City Benefit <br />Improvement District <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution requesting and authorizing the County Controller to levy the <br />benefit assessments for the Downtown Redwood City Community Benefit <br />Improvement District and authorizing the County Tax Collector to collect such <br />assessments for Fiscal Years 2020-2021 through 2029-2030. <br />Page 4 of 6 <br />4 <br />
