Create Economic Development opportunities including <br />training/re-training, job development/creation, small business <br />lending and cleanup/remediation of contaminated sites and market <br />employment opportunities to local residents that create job skills <br />and create/retain employment: <br />ED -3: Encourage small business growth. <br />Description of Services to be Provided: <br />Renaissance Mid -Peninsula will provide local entrepreneurship training <br />programs for lower-income, English and Spanish speaking Redwood City <br />residents, promoting self-employment, the creation of sustainable new <br />businesses and jobs, and lasting economic development. <br />Primary Quantitative Objectives: <br />Igniting the Power of Entrepreneurship to Build Economically Vibrant Families and <br />Communities in San Mateo County will serve 60 Redwood City persons. <br />NOTE: Performance will be measured by program objectives and quantitative goals.
