Waive second reading and adopt Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Redwood City Amending <br />Chapter 20, Article VII of the Redwood City Municipal Code relating to Oversized Vehicles, Recreational <br />Vehicles, and Sleeping in Vehicles; and <br />2. Waive second reading and adopt Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Redwood City Amending <br />Section 20.96 of Division 1 of Article VII of Chapter 20 of the City Code of Redwood City Relating to Two <br />Hour Parking. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Housing <br />BACKGROUND <br />On August 24, 2020, the City Council introduced an Ordinance amending Chapter 20, Article VII of the <br />Redwood City Municipal Code relating to oversized vehicles, recreational vehicles, and sleeping in <br />vehicles; and an ordinance amending Section 20.96 of Division 1 of the Article VII of Chapter 20 of the City <br />Code of Redwood City relating to two hour parking. The ordinance amendments are in conjunction with <br />the City's establishment of a Temporary Safe Parking Program. This program was developed through <br />extensive study and community engagement in the last year.
