6.1. - Page 1 of 21 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: September 14, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment to the City's Classification and Wage and Salary Plan to establish the classification of Assistant <br />Community Development and Transportation Director <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt a resolution amending the City's Classification and Wage and Salary Plan to establish the <br />classification of Assistant Community Development and Transportation Director. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />In accordance with the City's Municipal Code and Personnel Rules, the City maintains a classification and <br />salary plan for all positions of employment with the City.
