Periodically, as service needs and operations <br />evolve over time, City staff reviews the City's classification system and organizational changes in order to <br />make changes in support of the City's Strategic Plan and improve service delivery. <br />When considering changes to compensation, the City takes into account factors such as the regional cost - <br />of -living, recruitment and retention goals, compensation survey data from comparable Bay Area cities <br />along with internal equity, as well as the current financial condition of the City, and any anticipated fiscal <br />challenges. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore <br />317 <br />
