DES:djk /19/95 (141/39) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 6/26/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12512 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CITY FACILITY <br /> ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATIONS - PHASE II; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12456, adopted May 8, <br />1995, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the City Facility <br />Accessibility Modifications - Phase II, Redwood City, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, NuTek Construction, Inc. of Millbrae, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to accept said bid of NuTek Construction, <br />Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of NuTek Construction, Inc., in the amount of <br />Six Hundred Fifty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($650,000.00), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 7, <br />1995, for the City Facility Accessibility Modifications - Phase <br />II, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
