From: Darshana Maya Greenfield <br />To: GRP -City Council <br />Subject: pls vote in the new all -electric REACH codes! <br />Date: Sunday, September 20, 2020 11:56:09 PM <br />We will eventually need to stop burning so much fossil fuel - especially very polluting natural <br />gas! <br />It seems prudent to stop installing new lines in new construction (with the special exceptions <br />of course for restaurants, hospitals and labs.) <br />Please vote FOR the Reach Codes, and educate other Redwood City folks that this is ONLY <br />for NEW construction, and no one will have to give up their old gas stoves nor be forced to <br />replace them with electric from this. <br />We have plenty of time to adjust and learn about how fabulous all electric is - especially if <br />powered by your own or a local co-op solar panels!! <br />Thanks much, <br />Darshana Maya Greenfield <br />"Love is the answer whatever the question" Is <br />
