If these facts don't convince you of the danger of natural gas, consider the mandate to use <br />alternatives as a method to save lives. A friend lost her younger sister due to an improperly <br />installed natural gas line in their pool house for the pool heater at their in Los Altos property. <br />This was before CO2 monitors where required. Her sister went to spend the night in their <br />beautiful new pool house and never woke up. What a terrible way to lose a family member and <br />is completely avoidable using electric heaters. <br />While some may argue that cooking with natural gas is more pleasant, and I'd tend to agree, <br />it's something I've given up knowing that the benefits outweigh the cons. Induction cooktops <br />for any busy individual trying to cook are *amazing* - allowing for precise control with no <br />fire or burn risk.
