The existing gas connections persist so its not an issue for <br />current kitchens. Also I have tried the new induction stoves and they are EXCELLENT... better than gas stoves in <br />many ways. I was skeptical because I like my gas range for cooking. But I am a convert and will switch at home in <br />order to prevent climate devastation due to carbon pollution. Protesters should try the new induction stove top <br />technology before complaining. <br />Reach codes are affordable, ready to implement just like nearly every other city in the Bay Area and beyond, and are <br />simply an adjustment (not a step backward) for chefs and other stakeholders. <br />Thanks, <br />Mark Bauhaus <br />
