<br />• love its diversity on socio-economic, blue collar, white collar, we have port, collaboration
<br />in city, forward thinking.
<br />• Moved to RWC in 99 because it was diverse set of people and personalities moved from
<br />Oakland - on the peninsula close to work
<br />• Grew up on Pen. wanted to be close to parents- vibrant city feel- downtown has a lot
<br />going on and attracted me to come here
<br />• Climate best- grown to love - community and neighborhood and within school groups -
<br />great to rely on.
<br />• Really like my neighborhood, quiet and pretty.
<br />• Appreciate the collaborative approach to conflict - trees and recycled water in particular
<br />• Moved a couple years ago i can be a part of the city- not like palo alto- melanin blessed,
<br />government - have more power and say in RWC
<br />• Lived over 20 years- moved because of a job. Really like how its evolved on the
<br />peninsula- interesting, there wasn't a lot going on before. And now, they come here
<br />• Reminds me of my home town- being close to wateribay.

<br />• how much we love to celebrate everything and anything; joyous place to live; small home
<br />with a lot of people; sq footage of our lives felt very big because of all of the things we
<br />can do here
<br />• Barb Valley - lived in RWC since 72, love it, couple things love and appreciate, esp. In
<br />the last 20 years, such a diverse bunch of people, range of age (moved here when 28), lot
<br />to do, across ages, senior center is fab, diversity is great, most people very friendly and
<br />very giving (aside from social media)
<br />• collaboration that is baked into community, helping each other out at neighborhood level,
<br />school/city/nonprofits, unparalleled compared to other cities
<br />• have been living in and out of RWC for 6-7 years, returned after 3 years in Boulder (CO),
<br />relative affordability, love all the small business that serve amazing food
<br />• enjoy RWC, like public spaces, parks, town square, love going there on walks and the
<br />festivals that happen
<br />• worked here for over 10 years as a teacher, Garfield community school community, super
<br />warm, tight knit community, love where I work, Ko worked here for a while and loved it
<br />• moved to RWC 8 years ago, really enjoy how friendly and welcoming every is, dog
<br />owner, met a lot of people through that, been really warm and generous place to move to,
<br />physician
<br />• love diversity, moved from Marin County about 8-9 years ago, value chance to interact
<br />with people from different backgrounds, ages, professional status, enjoy connection with
<br />each type of person, food, festivals (salsa), never bored, happy to be a part of it
<br />• invested a lot in trying to maintain a sense of community that is available to everybody in
<br />the face of forces moving in the other direction, love this
<br />• Has longevity in the community.
