<br />88 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />~nterviews wiU be wnh developers ~nd investors, the Chamber of Commerce Economic <br />Development Committee, health care providers, and organized environmental groups. <br />These meetings are aU scheduled for April 1. There witt be additional meetings later in <br />April with interfaith groups, Latino organizations, schools leaders, and neighborhood <br />associations. The time and place ofthose meetings have yet to be determined. AIf times <br />and locations \'I{ill be posted on the City's web site (www.redwoodcity.org). <br /> <br />Significant progress is being made on the New General Plan and new meetings will be <br />scheduled for public dialogue and discussion. Staff is on track with the schedule <br />mtlestones as ten affmity group meetings wHf be hefd in the first phase or "wave" and an <br />additional five more in the second phase of the outreach process later this year. At the <br />same time the General Plan consultants are gathering information, and preparing <br />background reports, and assisting staff as needed. <br /> <br />During these last few months, the General Plan Committee met three times. The <br />Committee is made up of three City Council members (Honorable Mayor Foust, and <br />Coundl members Howard and Pierce) and two Planning Commissioners (Chair Cronin and <br />Planning Commissioner Seybert). The Committee has provided valuable insight and <br />direction to staff regarding public outreach and other General Plan work.
