6.M. - Page 1 of 21 <br />/<;i-ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />wended 1967 <br />4W <br />DATE: October 12, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Stormwater Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement for 350 Gunter Lane with Heron Court <br />Cooperative, Inc. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Stormwater Treatment Measures <br />Maintenance Agreement with Heron Court Cooperative, Inc. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Sustainability <br />BACKGROUND <br />Municipal stormwater discharges in the City of Redwood City are regulated by the California Regional <br />Water Quality Control Board under the Municipal Regional Permit (MRP). Redevelopment projects in the <br />city are required to mitigate stormwater runoff pollution and flow. Heron Court Cooperative, Inc. is the <br />owner of real property located at 350 Gunter Lane. In September 2019, the owner's representative <br />submitted eighteen concurrent building permit applications to alter and replace the roofs of existing <br />buildings on the property. Under Provision C.3 of the MRP, redevelopment projects that replace 10,000 <br />square feet or more of impervious surface must install stormwater treatment measures. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The owner, Heron Court Cooperative, Inc., has submitted improvement plans for the subject property to <br />the satisfaction of the City's Engineering and Transportation Division.
