10/12/2020 <br />program funding for the Project and to take any other actions necessary to give effect to <br />this resolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. City staff is directed to submit an application for TA Measure A Pedestrian and <br />Bicycle Program funds for $1,200,000 for the Project. <br />2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute a funding agreement <br />with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority to encumber any TA Pedestrian and Bicycle <br />Program funds awarded. <br />3. The City Council commits to the completion of the Project, including the <br />commitment of $1,659,216 for the Project of matching funds needed for implementation, if <br />awarded the requested TA funds. <br />4. The City Council certifies that any funds awarded by the San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority will be used to supplement existing funds for program activities, and will <br />not replace existing funds or resources. <br />5. City staff is authorized to take any other actions necessary to give effect to this <br />resolution. <br />6.
