Zoning Ordinance amendments related to Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) <br />(602) <br />This item was continued to a future meeting. <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive the first reading and introduce Zoning Ordinance amendments to <br />Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) requirements and miscellaneous provisions, in <br />order to comply with State law, and to address permitted ADU types, side and <br />rear setbacks, floor area, lot coverage, a maximum 16 -foot height for detached <br />ADUs and attached ADUs within rear setback area, and short-term rental <br />regulations. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />9.
