Below is a summary of SBS NL -k total franchise tonnage by Member Agency -
over the last three calendars years. The Town of Atherton's tonnage as a percentage of SBVATL-Vs
total franchise tonnage has remained fairly consistent over the last three calendar years - ranging from
3.2511/u to 3.29%.
SBWNU Total Franchise
Tonnage 13 Member Agency
2016
(Last'l*hrec
Calendar
2017
2018
Total
% of
Total
% of
Total
14 of
Tons
Tn 1
Tons
Total
lam
To al
Member Agency_
Town of Atherton
11,892
3.29%
12,089
3.28%
11,964
3.25%
Cin• of Belmont
17,236
4.760'0
17,624
4,78%
17,189
4.671ro
City rnf Burlingame
41,111
11.36°t,
42,194
11.43%
41,870
11.36%
County Unincorportated
11,103
3.07%
11,356
3.0811!0
11,200
3-04°'o
North lair C)aks
10,651
2.940/a
10,605
2.87/o
10,638
2-890./o
Cin' of Bast Palo .11th
19,208
5.310.'0
19,207
5.21D/o
19,030
5.179/0
City of Foster Cine
20,287
5.610/0
20,837
5.65 10
20,843
5.660'.
Town ofIWlsborou}h
9,837
2.720'o
10,165
2.75%
10,025
2.720'0
Car of Menlo Park
39,515
10.920'.
43,360
11.-}8%
44,251
12.010.,
Redwood Cir-
70,562
19.500
71,057
19.260".
70,558
19.1501.
Cin' of San Carlo,
27,189
7.71" 'o
27,731
7,52%
27,092
7.351'v
Cin, of San Nlatco
77,841
21.5106
78,265
21.211/0
78,320
21.26%
Wcst Bav Sarutanr
5,421 _
1500/0
5,510
1,49%
5,432
1.47%
SBWMA Total
361,854
100.0%
369,000
100.0%
368,413
100.0'%.
SOUrm youth Bm idu Wastc ,11,1migement
1uthority.
Each Member Agency's percentage of total franchise tonnage can be used as a proxy for their
proportional share of SB\X'NL1 obligations under the Joint powers Agreement.
