The discussion about Cannabis will not be on our Council Agenda this evening. I
would like to save your comments to be entered into the Public Record when we do discuss
Cannabis at a future Council meeting. Thank you so much for your interest in this important matter.
In Community Spirit,
Diane Howard
Mayor of Redwood City
From: Charlene Schoenstein
Sent: Monday, October 12, 2020 1:01 PM
To: GRP -City Council <council@redwoodcity.org>
Subject: Agenda #5
To Whom It May Concern:
I'm not sure if my comments fall under the above agenda, but I was under
the understanding that the cannabis store locations might be on the
agenda tonight. If so, I urge you not to allow them to be located near
housing developments. This type of store should be in the commercial
area or on the east side of Hwy 101 away from where children live.
Thank you for your consideration,
Charlene Schoenstein
Redwood City
