From:
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: New budget
Date: Friday, October 23, 2020 2:33:51 PM
Hello,
Many residents in Redwood City including myself are trying to understand why you have to
vote on a very serious budget change without having the public shown all the cuts and what
areas.
Seems like it would make more sense to vote on it the following meeting so at least people
have time to review and understand how these cuts will affect Redwood City as a whole. You
are talking about people who voted for the 1/2 cent sales tax. We totally understand how covid
has affected all forms of government. But you are supposed to be making the tax payers aware
of what's going on. Less than a weeks notice is a bit upsetting.
Thank you Sue Nix
President of the Redwood Shores Community Association
