I cannot <br />believe you would even consider shutting down local fire engines, when Engine 9 is said to be the busiest <br />in San Mateo County! With wildfires raging and Covid cases climbing, Redwood City needs all the help it <br />can get- especially since Redwood City is said to have the highest number of cases in San Mateo <br />County. <br />I urge you to reconsider these cuts, as our downtown Fire Department is vital to our whole community, <br />and shutting down any of our fire engines would have a disastrous effect on Redwood City. <br />Thank you, <br />Bonnie Alesna <br />RWC resident since 1996 <br />
