I deserve to have the best response time when and if I need 911 services, closing
Engine 9 will drastically effect me as a hard working, tax paying resident. If this is to acquire funds for the
overwhelming homeless situation in Redwood City it is time to go back to the drawing board. Maybe less money
could be spent on reconfiguring streets and corners to control traffic, multiple workers on one work site that are
standing around, street cleaning services that are unable to sweep because of vehicles in the way. I am wondering
how much thought is put into decisions made regarding improving Redwood City. I would refer to Redwood City's
trying to evolve into a place that would attract people as an "Oxymoron" building an enormous amount of
apartments for people but wanting to close the busiest station in Redwood City. I was born, raised and have chosen
to stay in Redwood City, a city I love but the mismanagement of funds, overwhelming and lack of control of
homeless situation and GARBAGE has made me reconsider making leaving it.
Diana Mariucci
