I am sure this year has been nothing
shy of overwhelming and challenging for you all fulfilling work, life, family and city council
member commitments. Thank you for taking all of this on.
I am writing to request that you do not vote to close Engine 9 through the approval of Fire
Department budget cuts. As a downtown business owner, we have relied on the close
proximity of Engine 9 for the last 8 years. And the ever present fire danger here is California
makes the prospect of less fire assistance sound terrifying. Please consider the lives and safety
of your downtown residents and employees when coming to a decision on this matter.
Thank you for your consideration.
Be well,
Courtney
Courtney Borrone
VESTA
2022 Broadway Street
Redwood City, CA 94063
www vestarwe enm
Courtney Borrone
VESTA
2022 Broadway Street
Redwood City, CA 94063
wwwvestarwe rom
