6.A. - Page 1 of 20 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: October 26, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment No. 2 with ECS Imaging for continued Laserfiche licensing, support, and document scanning <br />and conversion services <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 with ECS Imaging for <br />continued Laserfiche licensing and support as well as document scanning and conversion services for <br />Community Development and Transportation in an amount not to exceed $88,553, through July 5, 2023, <br />for a total contract amount of $158,553. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />In 2002 the City selected Laserfiche as its document archiving and retrieval system. Laserfiche is a software <br />platform that provides the City an electronic way to organize, store, search, and share City documents <br />internally and to the public. At that time ECS Imaging was chosen as the implementation, licensing and <br />support vendor for the Laserfiche platform. <br />Over the years through a series of agreements and amendments, ECS has helped the City maintain and <br />expand the use of Laserfiche including such enhancements as automated invoice scanning and <br />filing/storing, and the conversion of documents stored on microfiche and other older platforms into online <br />searchable records stored within the Laserfiche platform. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore <br />
