From: <br />To: <br />GRP -City Council <br />Subject: <br />Rescue of Engine 9 <br />Date: <br />Tuesday, October 27, 2020 9:54:09 PM <br />Though I was not able to get involved in the initial throng of people who DID respond <br />with their cares and concerns about this matter, I was brought to tears to read how <br />very much our community cares about necessities, rather than just let it roll by and let <br />someone else walk the walk of what was necessary to put forth how much the <br />citizens love and care for the safety of our community and our Fire Department! This <br />is my thank you to all of you who responded as you did to help with this dire matter in <br />this time of need. AND a grateful response to our Fire Department for calling out for <br />help in this time of great stress and anguish regarding what was to become of Engine <br />9! This literally makes my day, and I will never hesitate to help out myself when I can - <br />-a big THANK YOU to all of you who helped in any waythat you did! <br />Gratefully, <br />Evelyn Winnegar <br />
