(205) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on October 26, 2020. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Bain, Borgens, Hale, Masur, Reddy and Mayor <br />Howard <br />M/S Borgens and Aguirre to: <br />1. Adopt an electronic signature policy to allow the use of electronic signatures in lieu of <br />hand-written, or "wet" signatures and facilitate the use of paperless electronic documents <br />throughout City processes, where appropriate, and authorize the City Manager to make <br />minor edits to the policy with the concurrence of the City Attorney in order to facilitate the <br />use of electronic signatures; and <br />2. Retroactively approve all agreements signed by the City Manager and all authorized <br />City staff utilizing electronic signature, including digital, image, and facsimile, during the <br />COVID-19 pandemic. <br />Motion passes 7-0 by roll call vote. <br />
