Workforce Housing is housing that is affordable to workers and close to <br />their jobs. It can include both homeownership, as well as rental housing, <br />that can be reasonably afforded to middle-income workers, generally <br />households between 60% and 120% of area median income. Workforce <br />housing often targets specific types of employees including police officers, <br />firefighters, teachers, health care workers, retail clerks and the like. <br />
