From: KP
To: GRP -City Council; Council -Diane Howard
Subject: Fwd: 8A Discussion / Audio Technical Difficulties - Kayvon Pourmirzaie
Date: Monday, November 9, 2020 11:50:47 PM
Hello,
I did not get to share my public comments regarding 8A due to technical difficulties but
wanted to share the following as a Redwood City resident about a mile from the project:
We spent over one hour talking about homelessness. This project provides much needed
affordable housing. On this point alone, the project should be approved by the city and
not another minute should be wasted on this crisis.
Open space and biking/pedestrian pathways are sorely needed in RWC. The COVID 19
pandemic has accentuated the importance of these types of spaces that promote outdoor
related social gathering to protect the community from isolation. This project provides
fantastic open space and a vibrant footprint between the buildings and retail spaces.
This is an extremely uncertain time - to have a top notch global partner like Greystar
still willing to process the current space (which is an eyesore to say the least) is
something that the city should not take for granted. This project will also mean more
infrastructure related jobs. The United States in general is in great need of infrastructure
projects all around and RWC is uniquely positioned to approve a fantastic one near the
heart of downtown.
Regards,
Kayvon P
---------- Fiwifiaiw>
--
From: KP
Date: Mon, Nov 9, 2020 at 11:25 PM
Subject: Fwd: 8A Discussion / Audio Technical Difficulties - Kayvon Pourmirzaie
To: <dhoward&redwoodcity.org>
Mayor Diane Howard - you called on me but I was experiencing audio issues. Can you please
call on me again as a Redwood City resident? Thank you.
Regards,
Kayvon
---------- Fiwiwaiif
From: KP
Date: Mon, Nov 9, 2020 at
11:03 PM
Subject: 8A Discussion / Audio Technical Difficulties - Kayvon Pourmirzaie
To: <council&redwoodcity.org>
Hello - I was recently called but experienced computer audio issues. I have called in via my
cellphone which I believe has solved the issue. Can I be called once again?
