This activity is exempt under the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section 15325(f), because it <br />consists of a transfer of ownership of interests in land to preserve open space. This <br />activity is also exempt under section 15304 because any potential changes to the <br />physical condition would involve minor alterations to land and/or vegetation, which do <br />not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or <br />agricultural purposes. <br />Section 4. The City Council approves and authorizes the City Manager or her <br />designee to execute the Donation Agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br />Mel and Marguerite Casey, Trustees of the Casey Family Trust, attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, with such minor conforming, technical or clarifying changes or revisions as <br />may be agreed to and approved by the City Attorney, which do not materially increase <br />the obligations of the City thereunder. The City Manager or her designee and the City <br />Clerk are further authorized and directed to take such further actions and execute such <br />documents on behalf of the City as are necessary to carry out the transaction <br />contemplated by the Donation Agreement on behalf of the City, including without <br />limitation, a Certificate of Acceptance. <br />Section 5.
