S.A. - Page 295 of 302 <br />November 4th, 2020 <br />Mayor Diane Howard and the Redwood City Council <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Dear Mayor Diane Howard and the Redwood City Council, <br />The Redwood City Downtown Business Group would like to encourage the Redwood <br />City Council to move forward on the Greystar - South Main Mixed Use Project <br />located at EI Camino Real, Maple, Cedar and Main Streets and an offsite affordable <br />housing development at 1304 EI Camino Real. <br />They went back to the drawing board and added additional housing, which our <br />organization had asked for, from 249 units to 540 units of affordable housing <br />opportunities for families large and small in our community. Office space came <br />down to accommodate more housing, they listened. They have increased the retail <br />footage and are seeking entertainment opportunities for our families and youth in <br />Redwood City, which is desperately needed, as is retail along EI Camino Real which <br />they will also have for us. <br />They might find a way to bring back the roller rink which a lot of people spoke <br />about at the Redwood City Planning Commission Meeting on October 27t", 2020. <br />This activity has really been missed by our community. <br />A Childcare Center is needed for the community and they have really addressed <br />that for our community with a support partner. <br />298 <br />
