6.A. - Page 75 of 251 <br />Implementation <br />Implementation <br />The preceding chapters describe the principal sources of Redwood City's GHG emissions and related goals and <br />actions for achieving the community's targets of reducing emissions 50 percent below 2005 levels by 2030. This <br />section outlines the main components of the process for putting this CAP into action and identifies specific actions <br />from earlier sections that are recommended for implementation. <br />Although significant GHG reduction policies and initiatives are already in place, the actions proposed in this CAP, <br />by necessity, far surpass the scale of existing efforts. Implementing the CAP and ensuring that it results in real GHG <br />emissions reductions will require increased coordination across sectors and institutionalized climate protection <br />efforts across the community. <br />There are many measures and programs that Redwood City may implement to reduce GHG emissions.
