55. Stormwater BMPs - Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program Best Management Practices (BMPs) <br />for construction shall be implemented to protect water quality, in accordance with the approved <br />Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). BMP plan sheets are available electronically for <br />inserting into project plans. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />Street Infrastructure Improvements <br />56. Streetlights - Traffic -scale (cobra -head) and pedestrian -scale (post -top) streetlights shall be <br />installed as shown on the Vesting Tentative Map. Additional streetlights shall be installed, if <br />needed, as determined by the City Engineer. The style and location of all streetlights shall be as <br />determined by the City Engineer and Planning Manager. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />57. Traffic Signal — Signalize the intersection at Main and Pine streets, including all associated <br />improvements, prior to issuance of the temporary certificate of occupancy for the final commercial <br />building. [MI -2] [ENGINEERING] <br />58. Repair or Replace Street Infrastructure - Restore streets within and surrounding the project site to <br />the satisfaction of the City Engineer at project completion. When this requires additional pavement <br />restoration, the Engineer shall approve the preferred layout of pavement markings. <br />[SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />59. Reconstruction of Frontage Streets - Lathrop Street, Beech Street, and Main Street shall be <br />completely reconstructed within the project boundary. Frontage streets around the project <br />boundary shall be reconstructed or overlaid, as determined by the City Engineer. <br />[SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />60. Parking Garage Ramps - Parking garage ramps shall meet the Design Criteria of the Engineering <br />Standards and consider safety and visibility of pedestrians to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />Access controls shall be designed and placed in such a way that vehicles do not block the public <br />sidewalk or queue in the public right-of-way. The access control system shall be delineated in the <br />building permit submittal. Person doors with panic hardware and alarms shall be installed at or <br />adjacent to gates between private and public parking to allow the safest emergency egress path of <br />travel. Shoring for Excavations — No tiebacks shall extend into the public right of way or onto adjacent <br />properties without the written agreement of the City and/or private property owner. Any tie -backs <br />within the City's right of way that are within the top twenty feet below final grade shall be de - <br />tensioned or removed prior to permit sign -off and/or project acceptance. A removal fee, due prior <br />to each shoring permit issuance, shall apply for all tie -backs in the top twenty feet of depth within <br />the public right of way that are not removed by the project. [COA] [ENGINEERING] <br />Fire and Safety <br />62. Permit Review - A more comprehensive review of this project will take place at the time of <br />construction permit application and there may be additional requirements. <br />63.
